鑄鐵方箱主要用于零部件平行度、垂直度的檢驗和劃線(xiàn)時(shí)支撐工件，一般為邊長(cháng)相同的正方體或長(cháng)方體，可根據用戶(hù)要求制作各種規格和等高方箱及長(cháng)方筒。
用途：方箱主要用于零部件的平行度、垂直度等的檢驗和劃線(xiàn)。方箱是用鑄鐵制成的具體6個(gè)工作面的空腔正方體，其中一個(gè)工作面上有V型槽。方箱檢定的環(huán)境條件：常溫、常濕。
要求：方箱各工作面不能有銹跡、劃痕、裂紋、凹陷以及影響計量性能的其他缺陷。非工作面應清砂涂漆，棱邊倒角。在方箱內壁應有標牌，并標有規格尺寸，級別出廠(chǎng)編號、制造廠(chǎng)名稱(chēng)。
精度：對于刮研制方箱除檢定平面度外，還要用涂色法檢定接觸斑點(diǎn)。在邊長(cháng)為25mm任意正方形內斑點(diǎn)數為：1級、2級不少于25點(diǎn)；3級不少于20點(diǎn)。
這一檢定還應在方箱工作面的縱向、橫向和對角線(xiàn)方向的幾個(gè)截面上進(jìn)行。在測得的各個(gè)位置的直線(xiàn)中誤差方向一致時(shí)取其最大值，當誤差方向不一致時(shí)取其最大正差與最大負差絕對值之和，為該受檢面平面的平面度。
鑄鐵方箱：按JB/T3411.56-99標準制造，材料HT200。

Accuracy: In addition to verifying the flatness of the square box, the contact spot is also determined by the coloring method. The number of spots in any square with a side length of 25 mm is: 1 level, 2 levels is not less than 25 points; level 3 is not less than 20 points.
This test shall also be carried out on several sections in the longitudinal, transverse and diagonal directions of the square face. When the error directions in the straight lines of the measured positions are the same, the maximum value is taken. When the error directions are inconsistent, the sum of the maximum positive difference and the absolute value of the maximum negative difference is taken as the flatness of the plane of the examined surface.
