為使平臺提高它的使用壽命，保證它的工作精度，建議對刮研深度或控制在（0.02mm）以上，這樣可保證振動(dòng)實(shí)驗平臺有著(zhù)較長(cháng)的使用壽命和檢定周期。振動(dòng)實(shí)驗平臺表面應清除型砂、且表面平整，涂漆牢固,各棱邊應修鈍。從使用的角度講，在不致引起工件與振動(dòng)實(shí)驗平臺發(fā)生研合的情況下，盡可能提高接觸面積，可提高振動(dòng)實(shí)驗平臺的使用壽命。
JJG117-91檢定規程也未對此項予以適當限制。
在精度等級低于“00”級的鑄鐵平臺工作面上，對于直徑小于15mm的砂孔允許用相同的材料堵塞，其硬度應低于周?chē)牧系挠捕取?br />
JJG117-91檢定規程對刮研深度沒(méi)有做出規定，這無(wú)疑是一種缺陷。
產(chǎn)品的刮研深度對震動(dòng)實(shí)驗平臺使用壽命的影響是不可忽略的。
