On the pricey side for a typical backpackers budget but it is worth buying quality if you’re going to be spending the next 6,12,18 months wearing it. We both have the Patagonia Torrentshell and will be purchasing more of the range before our up and coming RTW trip.

There are many different travel guidebooks on the market but Lonely Planet always comes out on top for us. The guides are easy to use with informative maps and great pictures there’s no reason to look elsewhere. Also, the PDF guides are ideal for saving weight in your backpack. Keep an eye out for the promotions they run, especially the 3 for 2 and 50% off are great ways to add to your collection.
